Tell us about you (What drives you)
I’ve always been very driven by challenges. I gain energy from seeing results and knowing that things I do make a difference. I think that’s what I find so intriguing with influencer marketing. The social media landscape is constantly changing which allows us to always be creative and find new solutions.
Tell us a fun fact about you I have been raising a squirrel for the past two months, turns out they are really into avocado and Brussel sprouts.
What is your biggest fear?
That YouTube creator Mattdoesfitness doesn't let Luca do his intro’s anymore. If you know you know.
Why did you join Tailify?
I did not think I would find a job that married my passion for social media and interest in psychology so well. When I came across Tailify it felt like the most perfect fit where I could combine my knowledge on sales and psychology with working on the creator-side of influencer marketing. The fact that the company is also founded by Scandinavians is just the icing on the cake!
What is your proudest accomplishment?
Always staying true to who I am.
If you could give your younger self 1 piece of advice, what would it be? That everything in your life happens for you and not to you. With every mistake comes learning, with every rejection comes a redirection and with every pain comes ease. There is a silver lining to most things if you just look close enough.
What is the single most valuable thing you’ve ever learned?
That each person on this planet is living a life as vivid and complex as your own. Always be good to people because you never know what they're going through.
If you could share a meal with any 4 individuals, alive or dead, who would they be?
In normal circumstances, it would be inspirational people such as Femme Queen Florence Given and Sir David Attenborough, but this year it’s my 4 closest family members. I have not seen them in almost ten months because of the pandemic and I’d be so grateful to share a meal with them.
My secret passion is…/ guilty pleasure
Videogames. I’ve memorised the access-codes to all the bunkers in Call of Duty Warzone and I’m not even sorry.
In the next 5 years, the biggest thing I want to achieve is…
If there is something that this year has taught me it’s that you cannot predict the future, let alone 5 years from now. If I am still happy and healthy in the next 5 years I’ll be content.. as long as I have a dog that is.
What is something most people don’t know about you?
During the national lockdown, I went for a walk every morning at 6 am. As expected, walking the same route every day gets a bit boring. To spice things up a bit, I started counting all the dogs I saw each morning to determine what day had the most dogs out. Turns out, it’s Thursdays. Spreadsheet given upon request.
How do you think your colleagues will describe you in one year?
As someone who is enthusiastic, honest, and always has a great wi-fi connection.
Who is your favourite influencer and how have they influenced you?
Oh, easy - The Body Coach. There are only a few influencers that have such a clear (and brilliant!) messaging and influence as Joe Wicks. His mission is to help the world get happier and healthier, and even though he has done a massive breakthrough during lockdown with PE with Joe and now receiving an MBE - he seems to be one of the most down to earth people both on social media and in person. His authenticity and openness really inspire me to be the best version of myself.
