Tell us about you (What drives you)
My main goal in life is to have no regrets. I want to look back on my life and have achieved as many things as possible. I want to see the world, experience new cultures, travel to amazing places and meet incredible people, while having as much fun as possible along the way. I’d rather regret doing something than regret not doing it.
Tell us a fun fact about you
I love languages. When I was younger I spent my summers in Gaeltachts which are areas of Ireland where they only speak Irish. I also lived in Paris for a year to improve my French and I am currently trying to teach myself Spanish. I am hoping to surprise my Spanish friend with some muy buen español.
What is your biggest fear?
Not achieving my potential, I always strive to be the best I can be. I hate the idea of letting myself down. Oh and fish! I absolutely hate all types of fish, seeing one sends me into a full-blown panic.
Why did you join Tailify?
From the very first moment I was introduced to Tailify I was sold! The culture, the people, their passion, the vision and ambition are all incredibly inspiring and infectious. I knew that it was a place where I could grow both professionally and personally while enjoying every second of hard work with an amazing group of people!
What is your proudest accomplishment?
I’d have to say successfully completing my Masters degree. The added stress of COVID made it one of the most challenging things I have ever done but I learned a lot about myself in the process.
If you could give your younger self 1 piece of advice, what would it be?
To stop caring what people think of you. The people who matter will love you for who you are and the people who don’t shouldn’t be a part of your life. I think there is too much pressure put on people to be or act a certain way when in reality we should all celebrate our individuality. If everyone acted the same, the world would be a pretty boring place!
What is the single most valuable thing you’ve ever learned?
I think something that this year has taught us all is to not take anything for granted. Appreciate every moment in your life, and every time you say goodbye to a loved one give them an extra-long squeeze, you don’t know when you’ll get to see them again.
If you could share a meal with any 4 individuals, alive or dead, who would they be?
Jameela Jamil, Michelle Obama, Coco Chanel and Joan Rivers. I think that’s an interesting group of empowering, kick-ass women who would be able to have a fun and interesting discussion over a few glasses of wine.
My secret passion is…/ guilty pleasure
I’m a fashion addict!! I used to stay up all night to watch the Met Gala red carpet and fashion week. I love seeing how people express their creativity, individuality and personality through the clothes they wear.
In the next 5 years, the biggest thing I want to achieve is…
Travel! I want to visit and authentically experience as many places as I possibly can.
What is something most people don’t know about you?
I’m obsessed with cereal. Any type. I’d happily eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
How do you think your colleagues will describe you in one year?
The energetic Irish girl who never gives up.
Who is your favourite influencer and how have they influenced you?
I think that Bozoma Saint John is one of the most influential women in this industry. Her drive and work ethic is incredible. She inspires me to work hard and chase my dreams.
