Tell us about you (What drives you)
I’m driven by the emotional response evoked by your favourite brand. When you watch the Cadbury gorilla play In The Air Tonight, or when you walk through the awe-inspiring brand that is New York City. I want to create that feeling, that moment in a culture which is tied to a part of your childhood or a certain place you’ve visited.
Tell us a fun fact about you I actually have 5 names… Antonia Charlotte Carrie Victoria Lowe. Quite a mouthful!
What is your biggest fear?
Birds!! I hate them. My worst fear is an ostrich chasing me, which I have frequent nightmares about.
Why did you join Tailify? I was super excited to join a company full of young and ambitious people who want to build a great business and was most inspired by the level of openness and self-awareness shown by each person I interviewed with. It’s easy to tell that everyone at Tailify works hard but also has a lot of fun.
What is your proudest accomplishment? Finishing my degree with a First Class Honours during COVID, whilst also living in a house of 7!
If you could give your younger self 1 piece of advice, what would it be?
Get involved in everything, because that’s how you grow and become more confident. As you grow up you realise it’s actually cool to be intelligent and to care about things.
What is the single most valuable thing you’ve ever learned?
How people treat you is not usually a reflection of you, but a reflection of how they feel about themselves. I think this helps me to understand others and remember that everyone is on their own journey and struggling with their own fears and setbacks.
If you could share a meal with any 4 individuals, alive or dead, who would they be?
Will Smith, Oprah, Beyonce and Taylor Swift.
My secret passion is…/ guilty pleasure
Taylor Swift!! Sad but true, I am a dedicated Swifty.
In the next 5 years, the biggest thing I want to achieve is…
Become fully comfortable and confident in myself. I want to focus solely on my journey and not compare myself to others.
What is something most people don’t know about you? I’m not really an animal person. I tend not to broadcast this for fear of seeming completely cold-hearted, but I have to say that Ammar’s puppy is very quickly tail-wagging his way into my heart. <3
How do you think your colleagues will describe you in one year?
Happy, organised (if not a little OCD), and not ashamed to be the first one to go back for extra food.
Who is your favourite influencer and how have they influenced you?
I love @ambardriscoll for her real-life and authentic posts about female bodies. She’s great at showing the best bits as well as her bloated belly after a full day, which I respect and aspire to master myself.
