Hello Taniesha, what are you thinking right now?
What toppings I'm going to put on my porridge hehe!
How did you end up at Tailify and why influencer marketing?
I have always worked in creative industries on the operational side. When I discovered the client success role at Tailify I couldn't think of a role & company that I would be more suited to. The passion, culture & community shined through. Free Monday breakfasts may or may not have also had something to do with it.
What do you believe in today that you didn’t believe in before you started at Tailify?
Swedish food is phenomenal.
What does the word “Influence” mean to you?
Having an authentic tone of voice and using it to truly add value to someone else's life.
Who has been the most influential person in your life and why?
I don’t think that any one person has influenced me on such a large scale to be deemed the most influential - I definitely take a small amount of influence from everybody close in my life for different reasons. My parents, my siblings, my boyfriend, my friends.
What’s the difference between influence and influencer?
I think that every influencer in their own right acquires ‘influence’ but I think what separates the good from the great is using your influencer status when it really matters to have actual impact. Using your voice to make a change is what separates the good from the great.
Describe the ‘Typical Talifyer’
A driven and passionate individual determined to grow and down for a fuuuuuuun time.
What is your motto in life?
‘Everything happens for a reason’. It hasn’t failed me so far.
Where do you go/what do you do when you need to find new inspiration?
At the risk of sounding SUPER corny, I always feel really inspired by a beautiful sunrise! I think it’s just a small reminder that the world is far bigger than me and the possibilities really are endless. The sunrise the day that I started at Tailify was crazy.
What does influencer marketing, data and psychology have in common?
Influencer marketing is data and psychology. Whilst executing an influencer marketing campaign requires a tremendous amount of creativity, in order to drive results you have to understand data and use it accordingly. This is where Tailify comes in :)
What is your favourite thing working with clients?
I love people! Getting to engage with people outside my immediate workforce is brilliant. Also, working with different marketing individuals across different brands gives you so much insight; I feel like i'm constantly learning everyday.
Last question, If you were an influencer - what type of influencer would you be and why?
Definitely travel (Press trips come at me)! I love travelling, discovering undiscovered places, taking photos and videos of my trips and EATING all the new food. When I was 18 I tried to make a travel blog, which failed sadly, but I'm still holding out hope.
