Hello Mollie, what are you thinking right now?
Right now, is the beginning of a transitional phase for me where I will be letting go of some old clients and taking on some new ones. So, right now my main thoughts are on my new clients; what they’re up to, any new product launches, recent media campaigns…
Also, I have booked Dubai last night for November so planning the outfits in my head too hehe.
How did you end up at Tailify and why Client Success?
I had worked in traditional media for a number of years and had always loved it. However, I was yet to find the one channel I was truly passionate about. One day, I received a message from a recruiter to check out a new and upcoming startup in the heart of Shoreditch. It took one phone call and I was completely sold! Joining Tailify was the best decision I have made in my career so far. I love to be hands-on with all the campaigns and both manage influencer/client contact so Client Success is the perfect fit for me.
What do you believe in today that you didn’t believe in before you started at Tailify?
That my age is not a barrier to my success.
I had always struggled with feeling inferior to my colleagues purely on the basis they were slightly older. I repeatedly said to myself “why would anyone listen to me? I’m just a child in their eyes”. My confidence and assertiveness began to deteriorate over time… this all changed when I moved to Tailify. Nobody cares what age you are, what you look like or where you’re from. If you come in every day with the right mindset then you’re respected and valued to the company.
Who has been the most influential person in your life and why?
It’s hard to say one person who has been the most influential person to me as so many people have been from celebrities to family to strangers. If I had to choose one person it would probably be my mum as she is the closest person to me, she has influenced some of the most defining parts of my personality; my morals, my work ethic and a lot of my interests too.
Describe the ‘Typical Talifyer’
Hard-working, sociable, kind and enthusiastic.
What is your motto in life?
‘In a world where you can be anything - be kind’
Where do you go/what do you do when you need to find new inspiration?
I LOVE a nice long walk. I usually walk 15,000 - 20,000 steps a day. It keeps both my body and mind active. It helps me to switch off and relax and it is usually where I think of some of my most creative ideas.
What is your favourite thing about working with clients?
Being able to meet all different types of people from different backgrounds - some of my closest friends have started from client relationships. I also love to learn what each client’s own vision is of what they want to gain from influencer marketing.
Last question, If you were an influencer - what type of influencer would you be and why?
Easy - reviewing films. I have watched almost every film on Netflix. I do have a life I promise...
