How did you end up at Tailify and why influencer marketing?

The prospect at working for a company which was applying science to Influencer Marketing was what initially excited me. Influencer marketing is the future of advertising and allows someone in sales, like me, to get involved with a creative project. It’s great to see science and creativity merged together and it’s great to see the results of your work when you’re scrolling through instagram or browsing on Youtube.

What do you believe in today that you didn’t believe in before you started at Tailify?

Scandinavian exports are some of the best in the world.


What does the word “Influence” mean to you?

Something deeply resonates with someone and in doing so changes their behaviour. It’s what we think about everyday at Tailify!


Who has been the most influential person in your life and why?

My mum - African Parenting


What’s the difference between influence and influencer?

Influencers are people who create content to promote aspects of their life or a brand in order to try (key word) and influence others. Influence is when influencers effectively change the behaviour of their audience.


Describe the ‘Typical Tailifyer’

Adaptable, creative and progressive


What is your motto in life?

“When life throws you lemons, make lemonade... 😉”


Where do you go to find new inspiration?

Friends, Family and Social media.


What does influencer marketing, data and psychology have in common?

A deep understanding of data and psychology, is the key component to effective influencer marketing. Once you crack the code you crack Influencer Marketing.


What is your favourite thing working with clients?

Hearing about the multitude of ways in which different brands strategise around their goals. We adopt a very collaborative approach at Tailify, so this essentially makes us a bolt on to a brand. As a result, I’m constantly getting a deep understanding of different brands, which I love!


Last question, what has been your biggest learning from your time at Tailify?

Effective Influencer Marketing takes time and commitment. If you’re not doing these things right it won’t work!
