Hi Caro, what are you thinking about right now?
That I should be in Costa Rica right now soaking up the sun with a cocktail in both hands!
How did you end up at Tailify and why Client Success?
I had just graduated from University. I knew I wanted to get into marketing but I still hadn’t figured out what industry. When I first heard of Influencer Marketing, I knew it was a new challenge for me as it was an industry that I knew existed and was growing but had never thought to venture into. I came across Tailify and thought it was super interesting how brands and influencers can work together to create fun and exciting campaigns to meet a range of different goals. I have always had a passion in meeting client’s needs as well as being part of a process that helps deliver a seamless client experience, so Client Success just seemed the right fit for me.
What is the most common question people tend to ask when they find out you work with Influencers?
A few people have asked me if I meet up with our influencers to help them shoot their content! To be fair, I think that it would be quite cool to see behind the scenes. I love seeing our video content come to life because you can always tell a lot of effort has been put into it.
What is your motto?
"We may encounter many defeats but we must not be defeated." - Maya Angelou
How would you describe the Tailify team?
A group of ambitious, hardworking and friendly people who never shy away from creating opportunities for themselves and the company to reach new goals.
Name one thing your colleagues would never know about you?
Before tennis, my first love was athletics! I used to train at least three times a week and would compete against other clubs.
What is the main thing your Tailify Journey has taught you?
To have more confidence in myself and to never shy away from asking for help.
What’s your biggest tip to stay motivated?
Take your breaks! We aren’t robots and taking breaks is so necessary as it helps us restore energy and mental resources to continue with our day. I am also a firm believer in words of affirmation and I believe that by attracting that positive energy into your life it will help you in the long run to stay motivated and see change.
What is one thing that surprised you working with Influencer Marketing?
Sounds silly, but I was honestly surprised to see how much work really goes behind an ad. It is definitely not just as simple as taking a picture and posting it online to your hundreds of followers. There is a lot of thought that goes behind the scenes with different teams like Strategy, Client Success and even Finance working together to create the best possible campaign.
What characteristics are necessary to become a Tailifyer?
One of the first things I noticed about the team when I started working here was how willing everyone was in helping each other. This could be as little as taking 5-10 mins out of your day to help on a shortlist, but everyone in the CS team definitely are team players and I think this is why we are all so close to each other and work well together. Of course, you also need to have an element of fun and be prepared to down some Tequila shots on a Friday evening ;)
Last question, If you were an influencer - what type of influencer would you be and why?
I would definitely be a fitness/wellbeing influencer. Since a young age, I have always been an active person and I love working out or playing tennis with my sisters. I also love sharing workout tips with my friends and helping people in general feel good about themselves through physical and mental wellbeing.
